R5 TEC1 Regulator

Description

Polished chrome shows every mark from a season of shore entries, while black chrome keeps its look and sets a rig apart on a crowded boat. The R5 TEC1 builds on Tecline's R5 TEC, a balanced diaphragm first stage in black chrome marine bronze with a dry chamber and cold kit, whose four LP and two HP ports are placed for tidy hose routing. It runs at 9.0 bar intermediate pressure and is paired with the TEC1, a pneumatically balanced second stage with a venturi knob, a breathing resistance knob and a heat exchanger behind an aluminium ring, all to EN 250A. Tecline pitch the R5 at demanding divers and recommend it for single tanks and twinsets. That covers a cold-water wreck dive on one cylinder, a first step into twinset diving later on, and a drysuit season at an inland site. It comes on a 0.70 m black Proflex hose with a Tecline bag, octopus and gauge sold separately. It suits a diver who wants a black, cold-water regulator that will grow into twinset diving.
