R5 TEC1 Regulator Set

Description

A regulator set tends to be bought once and kept for years, so the first stage at its heart has to suit the diving that comes later, not only the first trip. These R5 TEC1 sets start from the R5 TEC, Tecline's black chrome diaphragm first stage for demanding divers, with a dry chamber, a cold kit and ports placed for clean hose routing. A black TEC1 primary on a 0.70 m black Proflex hose and a yellow TEC1 octopus on a 0.90 m yellow Proflex hose give two identical, pneumatically balanced second stages with heat exchangers, and the instruments hang on a 0.80 m rubber HP hose. Everything meets EN 250A and packs into a Tecline bag. Set I adds a 63 mm pressure gauge for a computer diver. Set II adds a console with a depth gauge for a cold-water club dive. Set III adds a compass for navigating a murky inland site. It suits a diver who wants a complete set built around a first stage that will carry on into technical diving.
