R5 TEC2 DIR Set

Description

Long decompression dives on doubles are where breathing comfort shows, because the diver is on the regulator for hours rather than minutes. The R5 TEC2 DIR set gives both posts of a twinset Tecline's best components. Two R5 TEC first stages in black chrome, balanced diaphragms with dry chambers and cold kits, feed two TEC2 second stages, pneumatically balanced with venturi and breathing resistance knobs, heat exchangers and the direct flow system. The primary runs on a 1.93 m black Proflex hose for donation and the backup on a 0.61 m black Proflex hose for a necklace, with an 88 mm bolt snap and an oval Tecline bag, all to EN 250A. The second option adds a 52 mm pressure gauge on a 0.60 m Proflex HP hose and a second bolt snap. That belongs on a deep trimix wreck, a long cave penetration and a cold-water decompression course. Tecline let the dealer vary hose colours and lengths. It suits a technical diver who wants the best Tecline regulators on a twinset.
