R5 TEC2 Regulator

Description

A diver who has settled on how they like to dive usually wants the best breathing second stage on a first stage that will not need replacing when the configuration changes. The R5 TEC2 combines the two top parts of Tecline's range. The R5 TEC first stage is a balanced diaphragm in black chrome marine bronze with a dry chamber and cold kit, running at 9.0 bar intermediate pressure, with four LP and two HP ports placed for clean routing. The TEC2 second stage is pneumatically balanced, with venturi and breathing resistance knobs, a heat exchanger, Teflon-coated metal parts against freezing and the direct flow system, behind a stainless steel ring. Both meet EN 250A. It works for cold-water single tank diving now and one side of a twinset later. It comes on a 0.70 m black Proflex hose with a Tecline bag; octopus and gauge are sold separately. It suits an experienced diver who wants Tecline's top first and second stage together.
