R5 TEC2 Regulator with Octopus

Description

On a recreational rig the octopus is the part most often neglected, and it is also the one a stressed buddy will breathe hardest. This R5 TEC2 set puts a TEC2 on both hoses: a black primary on a 0.70 m black Proflex hose and a yellow octopus on a 0.90 m yellow Proflex hose, each pneumatically balanced with venturi and breathing resistance knobs, a heat exchanger and the direct flow system. They run from the R5 TEC, Tecline's black chrome diaphragm first stage with a dry chamber and cold kit and a port layout designed for clean routing, all to EN 250A, packed in a Tecline bag. That suits an instructor who needs a dependable octopus for students in cold water, a buddy team on a winter quarry weekend, and a diver on a liveaboard who wants top-grade second stages on both hoses. A pressure gauge is not included, which leaves room for a transmitter or the gauge of choice. It suits a diver who wants a premium primary and octopus from one first stage.
