Rubber HP Hose

Description

On a pressure gauge, the hose takes the wear: bent at the same point on every dive, stepped on at the boat and packed tight in a kit bag. The Tecline rubber HP hose is the conventional replacement, a Kevlar-reinforced rubber hose with a 12.6 mm outside diameter, and its EU declaration covers lengths up to 1.10 m under EN 250. Black comes in nine lengths from 0.15 m to 1.20 m, while blue, red and white come in 0.60 m and 0.80 m. At a regulator service, it swaps a cracked or bulging gauge hose for a like-for-like rubber part. On a stage cylinder, the 0.15 m length keeps the gauge tucked in against the first stage. In a rental fleet, coloured hoses make sets quick to sort by size or by service date. Fitting belongs with a qualified technician, followed by a leak check. It suits a diver or dive centre that prefers the weight and stiffness of a traditional rubber gauge hose.
