Side 16 Avenger Professional Sidemount BCD

Description

Sidemount rigs wear hard: cylinders rub along the flanks on every dive, and low cave passages and wreck interiors scrape across the bladder. The Side 16 Avenger Professional answers that with a Kevlar outer shell over Tecline's flat 16 kg sidemount bladder, in grey. An instructor teaching sidemount courses every month, a cave diver working through low bedding planes, and a technical diver who carries stage cylinders clipped alongside the main pair all get the benefit of the tougher fabric. The rest matches the Avenger: four integrated pockets for 10 kg of lead, a removable butt plate for steel cylinders or accessories, a 33 cm K-type inflator that mounts left or right, and a quick-release valve in the lower back for venting in a flat or head-down trim. Five stainless D-rings carry the clips, and the system meets EN 1809. It suits a sidemount instructor or frequent cave diver who needs a harder-wearing shell.
