Side 16 Avenger Transilvania Sidemount BCD

Description

Some divers like their kit to be recognised at a glance from the far end of a dive centre. The Side 16 Avenger Transilvania is a decorative edition of Tecline's Avenger, a deep teal bladder printed with a vampire and bat design and the Transilvania name. The working parts are those of the standard Avenger: a flat 16 kg sidemount bladder that keeps a low profile, an adjustable harness with integrated shoulder pads, and a removable butt plate for steel cylinders or accessories. That covers a flooded mine dive with long, low passages, a night dive on a local wreck, and a cold-water training weekend on two cylinders. The four integrated pockets carry 10 kg of lead, the 33 cm K-type inflator can be fitted on either side, and a quick-release valve in the lower back vents in a flat or head-down trim. Five stainless D-rings take the cylinder clips, and the shell is Cordura 1000D, made to EN 1809. It suits a sidemount diver who wants a printed rig.
