Side 16 Blind Plug

Description

A small cap that goes missing can leave an otherwise sound wing out of use until a spare turns up. This is Tecline's replacement blind plug for the SIDE 16 sidemount system, a round black cap with a knurled edge. Tecline's SIDE 16 manual notes that its inflator can be mounted on the left or the right, and a blind plug closes whichever port is not in use. For a diver switching the inflator to the other side, a spare plug makes the change possible without waiting for parts. A dive centre running SIDE 16 rigs for sidemount courses can keep one in the spares box. It fits the SIDE 16 family only and should be fitted and leak-checked by a technician. It suits a SIDE 16 owner who has lost a plug or is moving the inflator.
