Side 16 Sliding D-Ring

Description

Aluminium cylinders get lighter as they empty and swing out from the body, so the clip point that carries them needs to sit exactly right. Tecline's sliding D-ring for the SIDE 16 is a stainless D-ring on a three-bar slide, and Tecline recommend it for sidemount configurations with aluminium cylinders. The SIDE 16 manual describes movable D-rings on rails at the back of the system, and this part lets a clip point be repositioned along the webbing. For a diver fine-tuning how the cylinders hang, the slide moves the D-ring without rethreading. As a spare, it replaces a bent or lost ring. It is sold singly. It suits a SIDE 16 diver using aluminium cylinders who wants an adjustable clip point.
