Silicone Mask Strap 16 mm

Description

Silicone mask straps age in the sun and eventually tear, usually on the boat when there is no spare to hand. Tecline's black silicone strap is the replacement for the Frameless Super View and fits other masks with 16 mm buckles. It has a split back that spreads the pull across the head and ribbed ends with stopper tabs, so the buckles grip it and it cannot pull all the way through. In a save-a-dive kit it is the one spare that rescues a morning's diving when a strap snaps. On a Super View bought second-hand it refreshes the mask without replacing it. For an instructor with a set of rental masks it keeps the fleet in service between seasons. Buckles are not included, and the length is not published. It suits a diver who owns a Super View or another mask with 16 mm buckles and wants a spare strap on hand.
