Tecline SPG Head

Description

A pressure gauge that has been knocked around for years can stick, fog or read wrong, and replacing the whole console is often more than the job needs. A bare SPG head goes onto the existing HP hose instead. Tecline make theirs in brass with a chrome or nickel finish, behind tempered glass, with a fluorescent dial that stays readable in low light and an over-pressure relief valve. The 52 mm head suits a slim, low-drag gauge on a backplate rig or a stage cylinder. The 63 mm head gives a bigger face for a diver who wants the numbers easy to read through a fogged mask. Scales run to 300 bar for a 230 bar working pressure, or 400 bar for 300 bar cylinders, and one chrome head has a psi dial that reads to the equivalent of 345 bar, with a 296 bar working pressure, for cylinders filled and logged in psi. The hose and swivel are sold separately. It suits a diver replacing a tired gauge or building a clean, hose-mounted SPG.
