Stage Rigging Kit with Bungee

Description

A stage cylinder has to hang flat along the diver's side, clip on and off with gloved hands and keep its regulator hose tidy, and a good rigging kit does all three. Tecline's kit combines a stainless worm-drive band in a protective webbing sleeve, a leash of braided line through a thick tube with a 120 mm stainless bolt snap at each end, and bungee cord for the hose. On a technical dive with a decompression gas, the top snap goes to the chest D-ring and the bottom snap to the hip, so the cylinder trims along the body. On a cave or sidemount course the same kit rigs a travel or bailout cylinder. The thick tube leaves room to slide a finger under the bungee and tuck the second stage away. The rigging is not a carry handle, and Tecline advises carrying the cylinder by its valve. Kits are made for 5.7 L, 7 L, and 10 or 11.1 L cylinders. It suits a diver rigging a stage or deco cylinder who prefers bungee for hose retention.
