Stainless Steel Spool

Description

Finger spools get dropped on boat decks, trodden on and thrown in kit bags, and a stainless steel spool shrugs off treatment that would crack a plastic one. Tecline's stainless steel spool has polished flanges with oval cut-outs, orange braided line and a 100 mm stainless steel double-ender. The 10 m and 15 m versions suit a shallow safety stop DSMB or marking a spot on the bottom. The 30 m version is the everyday size for sending up a DSMB from recreational depths. The 45 m version gives more line for deeper deployments or for measuring a wreck section. The cut-outs let water drain and give a gloved finger a grip when winding. The spool, line and snap come assembled. It suits a diver who wants a finger spool that will survive years of rough handling.
