T Adapter G5/8 DIN

Description

A hired cylinder with a single-outlet valve and a plan that needs two first stages do not normally go together. This Tecline T adapter screws into a G5/8 DIN valve through a male connector with a black handwheel and splits the outlet into two G5/8 DIN female outlets rated to 230 bar, sealed with Viton. Tecline make two versions: a male connector for 232 bar valves, and a longer one that fits both 232 and 300 bar valves. A diver travelling to a destination where every rental cylinder has a single outlet can still run a primary and a backup first stage. The same adapter lets an instructor run a second regulator for a demonstration in the training pool. Both outlets are fed through the one cylinder valve, so a single handwheel shuts off both, unlike a twin valve. It suits a travelling diver who needs two first stages on a single-outlet cylinder.
