TEC2 Reversible Second Stage

Description

On a sidemount rig the left cylinder's regulator has to take its hose from the other side, and a standard right-handed second stage leaves the hose looping across the chest. The reversible TEC2 lets the LP hose enter from either side: it ships set up for the left, and Tecline include the parts to switch it over. That solves the sidemount problem, and it helps anyone building a custom layout, such as a backup on a necklace that has to hang cleanly the other way, or a stage regulator routed down the left of the body. It keeps the full TEC2 specification: pneumatically balanced, with a venturi knob, a breathing resistance knob, a heat exchanger and the direct flow system, a polyamide body with a stainless steel outer ring, Teflon-coated metal parts against freezing and an ergonomic mouthpiece. It weighs 260 g and meets EN 250A. Hose and first stage are sold separately; side changes are work for a qualified technician. It suits a sidemount diver or anyone setting up a left-hand hose route.
