US-13 LED Dive Light

Description

The backup light is the one most divers skimp on, yet it needs to be small enough to carry on every dive and bright enough to be useful when it comes out. Tecline's US-13 clips to a chest D-ring or tucks into a pocket and still puts out 800 lumens from a Cree XM-L U2 LED through a 10 degree reflector. As a backup on a technical dive it sits out of the way until needed, then gives a beam strong enough to signal a team. As a primary for a relaxed night dive on a shallow reef it is ample on its own. It runs on three AAA batteries for about two hours, or on a single 18650 rechargeable cell using the adapter supplied, and the anodised aluminium body is rated to 200 m. Batteries are not included, and a soft Goodman handle is available separately. It suits a diver looking for a light, compact backup torch that runs on standard cells.
