US-16 LED Dive Light

Description

Rechargeable torches are excellent until the charger is left at home or the socket on the boat is taken, which is when a light that runs on ordinary shop batteries earns its place. Tecline's US-16 takes three C-size cells and delivers 1500 lumens from a Cree XM-L T6 LED through a tempered glass lens and a 10 degree reflector. On a week-long liveaboard each set of batteries gives two hours or more of light, and spares are easy to pack. On a remote shore trip far from mains power it is a dependable primary light for day and night dives. For a dive centre it makes a straightforward rental or training torch that needs no charging routine. The anodised aluminium body is 220 mm long, rated to 200 m, and weighs 185 g without batteries. Batteries are not included. It suits a diver who wants a bright handheld light without depending on a charger.
