V1 Ice TEC1 Regulator

Description

Ice diving and cold inland water are hard on regulators, and a free-flow at depth under a frozen surface is the scenario every cold-water diver trains for. Tecline certify the V1 ICE TEC1 to EN 250A for cold water and recommend it for ice diving. The V1 ICE first stage is a balanced diaphragm with a dry chamber and an extra cold kit, 813 g of chrome-plated marine bronze with four LP and two HP ports in a V layout that routes hoses cleanly on a single cylinder. The TEC1 second stage is pneumatically balanced, with a venturi knob, a breathing resistance knob and a heat exchanger. That makes it a fit for an ice diving course, a winter season in a cold quarry, and a drysuit trip to a cold-water destination where the regulator has to cope with the first dive of the morning. It comes on a 0.63 m black Proflex hose with a Tecline bag; octopus and gauge are sold separately. It suits a cold-water single tank diver who wants a regulator rated for ice.
