V1 Ice TEC2 Regulator

Description

In near-freezing water a regulator has two jobs: stay free of ice at the first stage and keep breathing easily at the second, and a set that only handles one leaves the diver exposed. The V1 ICE TEC2 answers both with Tecline's cold-water parts. The V1 ICE first stage is a balanced diaphragm with a dry chamber and extra cold kit, 813 g of chrome-plated marine bronze with four LP and two HP ports in a V layout for tidy single tank routing. The TEC2 second stage is pneumatically balanced, with venturi and breathing resistance knobs, a heat exchanger, Teflon-coated metal parts against freezing and the direct flow system. Both meet EN 250A. That covers an ice dive under a frozen lake, a dark winter wreck in a cold sea, and a drysuit course at a cold inland site. It comes on a 0.63 m black Proflex hose with a Tecline bag, octopus and gauge sold separately. It suits a diver who wants Tecline's best second stage on their ice-rated first stage.
