Valve Knob 42 mm ABS

Description

A compact handwheel keeps a valve low-profile where hoses, bands and a backplate crowd the top of a cylinder. This Tecline knob is 42 mm long, moulded in black ABS plastic, and made for a cylinder valve or a manifold isolator. Tecline describe the material as durable and resistant to mechanical damage. A twinset diver who keeps bumping a long isolator knob against the back of the head can swap to this shorter one. A sidemount diver wants less for the line or the bungee to catch on as cylinders are clipped and unclipped. A spare replaces a knob cracked by a fall in the fill bay without changing the whole valve. Its hard plastic gives less grip than a soft rubber knob in thick gloves. It suits a diver who prefers a shorter, harder handwheel on a valve or isolator.
