Valve Knob Screw W3/16

Description

The small screw on top of a valve handwheel is the one part that keeps the knob on the spindle, and it is easily lost when a knob is changed on a boat. Tecline sell this W3/16 screw on its own for retaining the knob on their cylinder valves. It is a round slotted part, pictured in steel, that threads onto the end of the spindle. A diver fitting a new green knob to mark a nitrox cylinder needs it to secure the replacement. A workshop replacing a handwheel after a valve inspection can fit a fresh screw instead of reusing a worn one. A spare in the save-a-dive box saves a dive when the original drops through the deck grating. It is sold singly, and fitting is best done by the workshop. It suits a technician or valve owner re-fitting a handwheel on a Tecline valve.
