Weight Pocket

Description

Moving lead from a weight belt onto the harness takes it off the hips and keeps it from sliding round when the diver rolls. Tecline's standard weight pocket bolts to the backplate and closes with a buckle, taking about 3 to 4 kg depending on the shape of the weights. The left pocket carries a movable D-ring for clipping off a light or a stage, and the right pocket is plain. On a single-cylinder rig in a wetsuit, a pocket on each side can replace the belt altogether. Shot pouches and smooth pocket weights fit better than hard belt blocks. Each pocket comes with a short fixing screw, and a longer screw is needed where a soft pad is fitted under it. Left and right are sold separately, so a pair means one of each. It suits a diver changing from a weight belt to weight carried on the harness.
