MDI Depth Gauge Capsule 63mm

Description

A console depth gauge that has flooded or cracked does not mean a new console, only a new capsule, and this is the Termo Industria MDI depth module on its own. A copper beryllium diaphragm drives the needle around a 340 degree scale that spreads the first half of the range wide, so the shallow depths where safety stops and ascent rates are judged are the easiest to read. A red maximum depth indicator records the deepest point of the dive and resets for the next, and an adjustment screw lets the gauge be zeroed for diving at altitude. The dial is luminous and graduated in 1 m steps, and it needs no battery. It restores a two or three gauge console, gives a dive centre a spare for rental consoles, and backs up a computer on a training dive. Accuracy is to DIN EN 13319. Check the console takes a 63 mm module before ordering. It suits a diver or centre rebuilding an analogue console.
