Description

Neutral buoyancy is the trick here. Two millimetres of neoprene added to the core would put lead on the belt to offset it; this laminate gives the same thermal gain and asks for none, which is the case for a layer over a thicker suit. It also blunts the flush felt through a back zip, the moment most divers register cold even though it is not where the heat is really going. The cut is women's and sleeveless, so the arms keep full range under a BCD, in the bonded Thermocline laminate made with ECONYL recycled nylon, with a contrasting grey shoulder yoke and a body long enough to stay tucked. It is machine washable and dries fast enough to be worn again the same day. Eight sizes run 2X Small to 3X Large. With Thermocline shorts it doubles as a summer paddling layer away from diving. It suits a woman adding warmth under a wetsuit without lead.
