Description

Everything that fails on a dive light lives in the head. The LED, the optics, the switch and the electronics behind it are the handled, sealed, electrically live parts, and when one of them goes the repair is a head swap rather than a new torch. This is that assembly for the TL5200P, supplied on its own in a plain box with no battery, charger, lanyard or dry bag, which is why it costs a fraction of the complete light. The other reason to own one is a trip where a failure is expensive: a liveaboard, an expedition or a working week of dives, where a spare head in the kit box turns a lost holiday into a five minute swap on the deck. Other heads in the TL series cover the rest of the range. It suits a diver keeping a TL5200P running.
