Big Blue TL5200P Sidemount Cave and Tech Light

Description

A sidemount diver has cylinders where a back plate canister would sit, so the canister has to move, and this is the TL5200P rigged for that. The light is unchanged: 5200 lumens for 7 hours, 2600 for 14, 1300 for 28 and 520 for 70, from four XML LEDs on a 10 degree narrow beam at 6500K. Seventy hours on the lowest level is what makes it a cave light rather than a bright torch, and the narrow cone is what carries that output down a passage instead of spreading it across the walls. It measures 72 mm across and 150.3 millimetres long, weighs 596 grams with the pack fitted, sits 222 grams negative, and is housed in anodised aluminium alloy tested to 150 metres. A slim fit Goodman handle and protective case ship in the box. It suits a sidemount cave or technical diver.
