Junior snorkels lose their keepers more often than adult ones, simply because a child's kit is handled harder and packed away in more of a hurry. This is the replacement keeper for the Cressi Top, the clip that holds the tube against the mask strap, sold on its own so a missing one does not force a new snorkel. Keeping the snorkel fixed to the strap is not cosmetic: a loose tube swings on every turn of the head and levers at the mask until the seal breaks, which is what makes a child give up. It is worth holding a spare, since the part fails at the water and cannot be improvised. Fitting the model-specific keeper matters, because it must match both the tube diameter and the strap.
