Apeks O2 Cleaned Transmitter

Description

A transmitter on a deco cylinder has to be oxygen clean, because the seals and lubricants in a standard unit become a fire risk in a high oxygen mix. This one is supplied oxygen cleaned, which is what separates it from a general purpose transmitter. On a technical dive it reports the contents of a stage or deco cylinder to the computer, so the diver is not reaching for a gauge on a cylinder slung under the arm. On a recreational dive it removes the console entirely and puts cylinder pressure on the wrist. On a multi cylinder rig several transmitters report at once to a computer that supports them. It threads into the high pressure port of an Apeks first stage. It suits a technical diver monitoring decompression cylinders, and it pairs with the Apeks DSX.
