Description

The LED on the cap reads pressure while the computer is still asleep, which moves the first stage check to the kit-up bench instead of the boat deck: the light says whether the cylinder has gas in it before a mask goes anywhere near a face. Above 1450 psi it gives a slow short green blink, between 1450 and 725 psi a short double yellow, and below 725 psi a long single red. Under water the computer then reports true remaining bottom time from measured consumption, so the figure shortens as the work rate rises. The unit screws into a first stage high pressure port, doing away with the hose and the console gauge on the end of it, and the compact body improves mounting options on a crowded first stage. Transmission is coded against interference on a crowded boat and pairing is a one-time setup. The CR-2PE/BN lithium cell is user-replaceable, rated at two years or 250 to 300 hours. It suits a diver adding wireless gas to a compatible computer.
