ULTRA WIDE ANGLE LENS (MICRO SERIES & REEFMASTER RM4K)

The SeaLife Ultra Wide Angle Dome Lens (SL052) increases a Micro-series camera's field of view by almost 50 percent and lets the photographer focus three times closer. On the ReefMaster RM-4K it takes the shooting angle to 196 degrees.

The optics are a 4-element, 4-group array of high grade optical glass, fully multi-coated to prevent internal glare and maximise light transmission, giving edge-to-edge sharpness. Effective focal length is 13.3 mm film equivalent on a Micro 3.0. The inner airspace is back-filled with nitrogen, which prevents the internal fogging that ruins a lens on a cold-water dive or a hot boat. A rotatable light shade cuts glare from strobes and sunlight and protects the dome from knocks. It is a wet lens with a locking ring so it cannot be bumped off, and it weighs 331 g (11.7 oz) and is negatively buoyant, so the included lanyard matters.
