Aqualung Universal Tank Band 12L/15L

Description

A cylinder that slips in its band part way through a dive shifts the diver's trim and, worst case, lets the valve drift out of reach. The Aqua Lung Universal Tank Band is sized for 12 and 15 litre steel cylinders, with a cam buckle that cinches the band tight. For a diver who has lost or damaged a band, it replaces the part without replacing the BCD. For a dive centre switching between 12 and 15 litre fills, one band covers both. For a diver adding a second band to a BCD for extra security on a heavy steel cylinder, it is the spare. Webbing stretches when soaked, so a band tightened dry tends to loosen in the water and is best tightened wet. It suits a diver or centre fitting steel 12 or 15 litre cylinders.
