Description
Cold water sealing adds cost and service complexity that a diver working only in warm water never draws on. The US4 is the first stage under the AT regulator, fully balanced but without the environmental seal, and it is priced accordingly. On a reef holiday it delivers a consistent breathe from a full cylinder to a low one, which is what balancing buys. On a club rig it pairs with existing Apeks second stages rather than forcing a whole new regulator. On a rebuild it replaces a tired first stage while the second stages carry on. A dust cap protects the inlet between dives. This is the DIN fitting, supplied as a first stage only. It suits a warm water diver building or repairing a rig, and the DS4 is the environmentally sealed alternative for colder conditions.
