Description

There is no door on a Micro camera and no battery to take out, which is what makes it flood-proof by design rather than by o-ring maintenance. It is also why this adapter is the only way into it: charging the battery and pulling the images off both run through here. The contacts on the camera body are proprietary, so no generic cable substitutes and no other charger will fit, which leaves a sealed body with a lost adapter unable to be charged or emptied. That makes it worth having a spare of before a trip rather than after one, and worth keeping in the same case as the camera rather than in a drawer at home. It covers the Micro HD, HD+, Micro 2.0 and Micro 3.0. Salt dried onto the camera contacts eats the pins, and pitted pins will not pass a charge, so rinse and dry them first.
