Description

Fourteen blue LEDs is a serious fluorescence array rather than a token one, and having them in the same head as twenty-four white and eight red means a whole night's shooting runs off one light. Output is 20,000 lumens across a 160 degree beam at 6500K cool white, the widest spread Big Blue build, with three levels giving 2 hours at full, then 4 and 8 hours from a seven-cell 18650 pack. It is remote control ready through a dedicated port, which matters when the light is on an arm and out of reach behind the camera. It weighs 771 grams with the pack fitted, sits 291 grams negative, and measures 70 mm across and 142.5 millimetres long, tested to 100 metres. A lantern handle, yellow plate and hard case all ship in the box. It suits a videographer shooting fluorescence and wide-angle on the same dive.
