Big Blue VL4600PB Light Head with Built-In Blue

Description

Fluorescence diving usually means a blue filter slid over the front of a light, which is one more part to lose, one more thing to fit in the dark and one more surface to flood behind. A built-in blue LED removes all three by putting the excitation source inside the head, switched like any other mode. This is the VL4600PB head assembly on its own, in a plain box with no battery, charger or accessories, bought to repair a damaged head or to hold as a spare. It comes in glossy black, glossy blue and glossy pink, which is worth a thought on a boat where several identical rigs hang on the same rail. The plain VL4600P head covers divers with no interest in fluorescence. That answers a fluorescence night dive, general video and a flooded head. It suits a videographer keeping a VL4600PB running.
