Vortex Swim Goggles

Description

A goggle has to be soft where it touches the face and rigid where it holds the lens, and moulding both from one material means compromising on each. The Vortex is co-moulded from two: TPE for compliance against the skin and a semi-rigid compound for durability and strength in the structure. An elastic element integrated into the frame lets it adapt to different facial profiles, so the seal is achieved by the goggle flexing rather than by strap tension. The lenses are slightly curved on the outside, which widens the view compared with a flat lens set square to the eye. Three colourways are offered. That construction is what Cressi mean by versatility here: one goggle that works across pool and open water rather than being tuned to one. It suits a swimmer who wants comfort and durability in the same goggle.
