Three jobs from one head. A one hundred and twenty degree flood fills a video frame corner to corner, a ten degree spot reaches down a wall and signals a buddy at distance, and a built-in blue LED turns the same unit into fluorescence excitation equipment without a filter having to be carried, fitted in the dark or lost over the side. That last part is the argument for the PB models over the plain ones: the blue is inside the head and switched like any other mode. This is the VTL2900PB head assembly on its own, in a plain box with no battery, charger or accessories, bought to repair a damaged head or to keep as a spare. The plain VTL2900P head covers divers with no interest in fluorescence. That answers a fluorescence night dive, video and technical work. It suits a diver keeping a VTL2900PB running.
