Description

The MAX is the upgrade over the standard VTL9000P head, and the numbers say where it goes: nine thousand lumens across the one hundred and twenty degree flood, plus two thousand nine hundred lumens in the ten degree spot. That is a wide beam bright enough to carry a video frame in green water and a spot with enough reach to be worth switching to rather than a token second mode. Colour temperature is 6500K cool white and the housing is tested to one hundred metres. This is the head assembly on its own, in a plain box with no battery, charger or accessories, bought as a repair or as a spare for a trip where a failed light costs dives. That answers wide-angle video in poor visibility, wreck and wall work, and a flooded head. It suits a diver keeping a VTL9000P-MAX running.
