VX1 DIVE MASK

Description

Internal volume is what a diver clears on every mask flood, and a frameless mask holds less of it, which is why the VX1 is the one most technical divers reach for when they are clearing a mask on a decompression stop rather than in a pool. Losing the frame also drops the weight and folds the mask flat enough for a drysuit pocket as a spare. On a deep dive the low volume means one short breath clears it instead of two. On a bright shallow reef the UV lens cuts glare where a clear lens washes out. On a cold water dive the skirt mixes matt and gloss silicone so it seals against a face that is tensed, and the quick release buckles adjust with dry gloves on. Five colourways run from plain black to orange and dark grey, and each is offered with a clear or a mirrored UV lens. It suits a diver who wants a low volume primary or a folding spare, and the VX2 is the framed alternative for heavier handling.
