Walrus Duffel Bag

Description

A bag that goes to the pool and then to the office has to hide the fact that it went to the pool. The Walrus manages it with five compartments, including a dedicated shoe pocket and a separate dry pocket that keeps wet kit away from everything else, and a main compartment that opens suitcase-style on a full-length perimeter zip so the contents are laid out rather than buried. It converts between backpack and duffel in seconds by bringing the padded shoulder straps together and securing them with a hook-and-loop grip to form one grab handle. The bottom is water repellent for wet changing-room floors, and reflective detailing around the bag helps on a commute after dark. All openings use YKK plastic zips that will not rust or jam after chlorine or salt. Capacity is 35 litres. That covers a pool session, a travel day and the walk to work. It suits a swimmer commuting straight on from training.
