Description

The Smart Focus 10000 is a large, powerful light, and on the end of an arm its weight pulls a rig down and strains the wrist over a long dive. The BC420 is a U-shaped collar of ultra-high-density foam shaped to wrap the body of that light, adding 465 g of buoyancy without an extra float arm in the chain. The open U slips on from the side and an O-ring keeps it from working loose, while the foam is designed to resist pressure, keep its shape and shed water. On a wide-angle video dive two collars bring a pair of lights close to neutral, on a long wreck dive they ease the load on the forearms, and when travelling they pack smaller than float arms. It measures 110 mm across with a 62 mm opening, stands 90 mm tall and is rated to 60 m. It suits a Smart Focus 10000 owner who wants a lighter-feeling rig.
