Optical Cable Adapter

Description

Fibre-optic strobe cables come with different plug shapes, and a cable that fits one strobe or housing will not seat in another brand's port without an adapter. These WeeFine adapters take a Sea & Sea-type cable plug on one side and fit a different optical port on the other: Type A for earlier INON strobe ports, Type B for INON strobes made from 2019, and a version for Nauticam housings. They let one set of cables serve a mixed rig. On a trip with INON strobes it connects WeeFine or Sea & Sea-type cables, on a Nauticam housing it fits the same cables at the housing end, and when replacing strobes it saves buying new cables. The strobe's INON port generation should be checked before choosing A or B. They are small and easy to lose, so a spare is worth packing. It suits a photographer mixing strobes and housings from different makers.
