Coloured background light has become a macro style of its own, but it usually takes a second light and a set of coloured filters to achieve. The Ring Light 3000 Pro builds it in: alongside a 5500 K white ring with a colour rendering index above 95, it carries red, green and blue channels that step through more than 600 progressive colour variations. White output is 1800 lumens for video and 3000 lumens in strobe mode, spread over a 90 degree beam from an M67 thread. On a night dive the RGB channels give creative colour, on a daytime macro dive the white ring gives flat, even light for video, and for stills the strobe mode gives more than 9000 flashes per charge.
