Smart Focus 1200 FR Snoot Set

Description

A focus light and a snoot bought from different makers rarely match on thread, beam or balance, and that mismatch is where many first snoot rigs stall. This set pairs the Smart Focus 1200 FR with its own snoot lens, which screws onto the head and narrows the 60 degree beam to a tight spot of about 20 to 25 degrees. For macro stills the snoot puts a small circle of light on the subject and leaves the background dark, for video the snoot comes off and the light returns to its full 60 degree beam, and on a night dive the two red LEDs give a softer working light. The light runs from one 21700 cell with 1200 lumens of 5500 K white, weighs 115 g in water, and switches off when it detects a strobe firing so it can double as a focus light. It is rated to 100 m. It suits a diver who wants to try snoot photography without buying the full filter kit.
