Smart Focus 2500 Video Light

Description

Fluorescence photography needs a strong ultraviolet source, and many compact video lights either leave it out or add a weak one as an afterthought. The Smart Focus 2500 pairs a 2500 lumen white beam with an 18 W UV channel and a 10 W red channel in a body only 52 mm across. On a night dive the UV channel is there for fluorescence work, on a day dive the 100 degree white flood covers short video clips, and on a macro session the focus function lets it act as an aiming light for a strobe. Two push buttons run the modes, a three-colour ring shows the battery state, and it accepts a remote control sold separately. The 11.1 V pack lasts about 70 minutes at full output and charges in about two hours. At 420 g on land and 195 g in water it sits easily on a compact tray, and it is rated to 100 m. It suits a diver who wants white, red and UV light from one small unit.
