Smart Focus 4000 V2 Video Light

Description

Colour falls away fast with depth, and a white light with a low colour rendering index can leave reds and oranges looking muddy even at close range. The Smart Focus 4000 v2 adds a full spectrum mode that blends red, green and blue LEDs into its 5700 K white beam for a colour rendering index of 95 or higher, alongside a standard white mode rated at 90. Its 4000 lumens spread across a 110 degree flood, enough for close wide-angle work on a compact or mirrorless rig. On a tropical reef it keeps colour in video, on a night dive the red mode gives a softer light for close subjects, and in a macro session the strobe mode fires from the camera over a fibre-optic cable. At 460 g on land and 220 g in water it keeps a travel rig light, and the three-cell 11.1 V pack runs for about 70 minutes at full output. It suits a diver who shoots video on a compact or mirrorless rig and wants accurate colour.
