Smart Snoot Video Light Kit

Description

Snoot lighting isolates a small subject in a tight pool of light against a dark background, and building a snoot rig from separate parts takes time and trial and error. This kit puts the Smart Focus 1200 FR together with its matching snoot lens, which narrows the beam to about 20 to 25 degrees, and a filter and snoot unit carrying pink, blue and green filters that swing in or out of the beam. On a macro dive the snoot lens produces a small, defined spot for stills, on a night dive the filters add colour to a backlit subject, and with the snoot off the light returns to a 60 degree focus and video beam. The light gives 1200 lumens of 5500 K white plus a red mode, runs from one 21700 cell, and switches off as an external strobe fires when used as a focus light. The whole kit is rated to 100 m. It suits a macro photographer starting out with snoot and coloured-light techniques.
