WFA05 40 Degree Ball Clamp

Description

A straight clamp can leave a strobe or light sitting further from the port than a macro shot needs, or poking into the frame on a wide scene. The WFA05 joins two 25 mm balls at a fixed 40 degree angle in a compact 40 mm body, which lets an arm fold closer to the housing or angle out behind the handles. The body is black anodised aluminium, and the tightening screw and spring are stainless steel, turned by a T-knob that is easy to work with gloves. On a macro dive it brings a light in tight beside the port, on a wide-angle dive it sets strobes back so less light falls on particles in front of the lens, and on a travel rig its short length keeps the folded package small. It fits standard 25 mm ball arms and mounts from most brands. It suits a photographer refining how a lighting arm sits.
