WeeFine WFA17 Ball Base Adapter

Description

Adding another ball point to a tray or base is often the simplest way to carry an extra light, a focus light or a float without rebuilding the whole rig. The WFA17 is a ball on a short stem set on a flat, slotted base plate, so it can be screwed down where a spare mounting point is needed and then take a standard ball clamp. The slotted plate gives some choice in where the ball ends up before the screw is tightened. On a double-handle tray it adds a third mounting point for a focus light, on a compact tray it creates a place for a clamp and short arm, and on a pole or tripod plate it turns a flat surface into a ball mount. WeeFine does not publish its dimensions or thread size, so the fit on a given tray should be checked first. It suits a diver adding a mounting point to an existing rig.
